Azud started out working as a nurse in hospital and in Dental Access Centres across South Devon, and also worked as an auditor and operations assistant in the out of hour’s service. He has been privileged enough have worked with many dentists locally and nationally. He is conscientious and understanding of dental anxiety/phobia and prides himself on being able to work with his patients to allay their previous concerns and regain trust in the dental profession. While aiming to deliver the highest clinical standards, he also provides a warm, welcoming and reassuring experience for all of his patients.

AJ is our implant surgeon and exclusively places and restores dental implants. He qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2010, completed his Dental Implantology training at the University of Pretoria in 2014 and is currently enrolled in the European Masters Degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. Always going the extra mile and treating patients like family, has resulted in AJ priding himself in his colleagues referring their own family and friends for treatment. Some even have treatment themselves! Growing up, AJ always wanted to become a Game Ranger, due to his love for animals, but nowadays, he enjoys exploring the beautiful countryside with his lovely wife and two young children.

Claire qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1999 whilst serving in the Royal Air Force. She spent 9 years working in the military across the country and on leaving the RAF in 2003 returned to her home town of Brixham with her family to start their next chapter. Claire has been with us since August 2018 and feels she has settled into the practice really well. Her smiley and chatty character has helped put patients at ease and whilst the overall importance of caring for patients oral health remains No.1 on the agenda she also looks at the bigger picture and takes all aspects of the patients health into consideration when carrying out treatment. Claire is married with 2 children and spends her free time with her family, travelling, keeping fit and reading.
